This project reimagines Don Quijote through a modern design lens, with a complete visual overhaul of both the book cover and interior layout. Inspired by the novel’s blend of satire and sincerity, I developed a fresh design system that honors its literary legacy while making it more accessible to contemporary readers.

From the typographic hierarchy and page composition to chapter headers and visual pacing, every element of the interior (“guts”) was redesigned for improved readability and aesthetic harmony. The custom cover design reflects the story’s whimsical yet noble tone—capturing the spirit of one of literature’s most iconic dreamers.
